Internal Communications Strategist (Intranet Strategist)

The Internal Communication Strategist is responsible for identifying, developing and managing content for the newly created Plexus intranet. Determines which content should be elevated and shared with a wider company audience. Promotes and champions the Plexus intranet as a key communication vehicle for Plexus. Partners with key stakeholders and departments to identify specific communication needs related to the intranet. Responsible for the quality and accuracy of the content posted, keeping intranet information up-to-date and measuring the effectiveness of the site.

Job Duties: • Demonstrated success building and managing intranets. • Technically savvy with a strong understanding of emerging technologies and best practices. • Proactive and collaborative individual with exceptional communications skills. • Ability to develop high-quality intranet content. • High degree of attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to analyze, critique and offer recommendations for improvement. • Experience planning and publishing digital content in support of business objectives.

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as: Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, English, or Communications. • 5 years of relatable experience in a similar position. • Writing/editing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Strong technical skills related to SharePoint, including hands-on experience creating and provisioning sites, working with site collections, web parts, workflows, meta data, templates and themes.
