ASRS’ Strategic Communications team is seeking a proactive and self-directed Communications Web Administrator to: • Develop & maintain public website, including troubleshooting and repair of performance issues; content management; development of new functions and/or content types; training new users, as needed • Monitor secure website content and functionality; ensuring brand consistency between public and secure sites • Responsible for the Agency’s intranet / Content Management System (CMS), including troubleshooting and coordinating repair of performance issues; content monitoring; development of new functions and/or content types; training new users, as needed • Serve as the Agency’s website expert (internal/external), collaborating with business units & Communications team members to meet needs and improve efficiencies, and make recommendations for future functionality and direction to management • Monitor analytics, report findings, and make recommendations • Maintain mandated accessibility standards on the public website as well as the Agency’s brand and communications standards • Serve as backup to other Strategic Communications team members, as needed • This position will report to the Strategic Communications Manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: • Strong working knowledge of Drupal and relevant coding languages (HTML, JavaScript, PHP) • Working knowledge of (or ability to learn within six months) of Atlassian Confluence/Jira/Kanban • Working knowledge of Google Analytics with ability to recognize trends and make recommendations based on analytic findings • Best practices in website building and development, content management and web analytics • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines. • Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey abstract concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Ability to work effectively within a creative, collaborative team environment as well as independently. IDEAL CANDIDATE: • A Bachelor’s degree in digital media, integrated marketing communications, computer sciences with an emphasis in marketing or communications, or related fields. • Evidence of continuing education, such as web-related & programming language certifications, a plus. • Three to five year’s experience as webmaster / web administrator, preferably working within a marketing communications environment.
