This new position will assist the Marketing Team and Mission Delivery Team on outreach to all Arizona wish kid alumni and their families to build a full alumni program for the benefit of wish kids, wish families and the chapter.

They will interact with wish kids, speak to them about the impact of a wish, collect photos and video content, interact with wish families and wish siblings, offer information on future alumni programming and follow up on Wish Satisfaction Survey responses.

This position will report to the Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations.

• Serve as primary staff liaison to children and their family members who have directly experienced a wish.
• Implement strategies outlined in the Marketing Department’s alumni activation plan to enhance a sense of community among wish recipients and their families.
• Plan, implement, and promote an alumni program that supports the Chapter’s overall strategic plan.
• Identify opportunities to engage wish alumni in current Chapter activities including volunteering, events and promotion.
• Identify and develop alumni speakers who can share their experience with donors, potential volunteers, and referral sources.
• Develop content pertaining to wish alumni for use in print and online media.
• Represent wish participant experience in cross-departmental initiatives addressing various topics including but not limited to wish quality and alumni giving.
• Other duties as assigned.

As with all members of Make-A-Wish Arizona staff, Alumni Manager must believe in the mission and vision of Make-A-Wish. He or she must model integrity, work to inspire colleagues and contacts and strive to build a solid base of loyal donors. In addition, the Alumni Manager should:
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Solid organization and relationship building skills.
• Familiarity with social media platforms.
• Proven ability to engage various community segments within a nonprofit setting.
• Experience with a CRM or other constituent management tool.

• 3-5 years related experience. • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Bi-lingual preferred to support the full Make-A-Wish community
