Community Relations Project Manager Arizona Department of Transportation
Under the direction of the Community Relations Supervisor for Northern Arizona, this position develops and implements community relations, public involvement and communications strategies for ADOT projects in the agency’s Northeast and Northcentral districts throughout all phases of development, including planning, environmental review, design, construction and maintenance. The position serves as ADOT’s primary point of contact for the communities located in these districts and builds and maintains positive relationships among ADOT and its stakeholders, including: community and business organizations, businesses, homeowners associations, government staff (city, county and tribal); councils of governments and metropolitan planning organizations; the traveling public and others. Collaborates with ADOT staff in Communications, Government Relations and other ADOT divisions, as well as engineering and construction contractors and local municipalities, in the development and implementation of effective public outreach materials and strategies to support projects.
