Rio Salado’s Division of Public Service is looking for an enthusiastic, driven fundraising professional to join our development team in Tempe.

The development officer coordinates, implements and analyzes data using a division-wide database. The officer also identifies prospective donors and members, tracks contributions and donor contacts, as well as monitors communications with donors and/or program members through appropriate software.

The Division of Public Service is home to three award-winning public radio stations — KJZZ, KBACH and Sun Sounds — in addition to the SPOT 127 Youth Media Center.

Under the supervision of the President and CEO, this position is responsible for
managing internal and external communications for the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable
Trust. The position helps ensure consistent and effective communication of the Trust’s
mission to various audiences. The Director provides the Trust with in-house expertise in
writing, media relations, community relations, internal communications, social media and
special events management. In addition to the usual communications responsibilities, the

Alumni Manager Make-A-Wish Arizona

This new position will assist the Marketing Team and Mission Delivery Team on outreach to all Arizona wish kid alumni and their families to build a full alumni program for the benefit of wish kids, wish families and the chapter.

They will interact with wish kids, speak to them about the impact of a wish, collect photos and video content, interact with wish families and wish siblings, offer information on future alumni programming and follow up on Wish Satisfaction Survey responses.

As a social media and content marketer, you will get to know our audiences, understand what messaging resonates best and create campaigns that grow, engage, and retain our followers while converting them into leads, customers, active fans and promoters of our company/brand. Excellent writing and critical thinking skills are mandatory.

This is a full-time role that can be done in a hybrid work environment. While most of the work can be done remotely, there are times where in-person collaboration is most beneficial.

The Communications Consultant provides the enterprise with candid strategic counsel and communications expertise, from conception to execution. The ideal candidate is a compelling communicator who can translate complex issues into easy-to-understand messages for a variety of audiences. Responsibilities include working directly with executives, leaders and internal partners to develop and implement strategic communications plans; writing and editing messages for a variety of formats, from talking points to website content, video scripts to infographics; and driving integrated communication strategies to inform stakeholders about company issues and initiatives.

Flex Role: This position is not required to be performed at a specific APS facility as long as adequate technology and a solid ergonomic set up are present. Pending agreement with leadership, employees hired into this role will be able to choose where they prefer to perform their work. Employees will have two options to choose from:
• APS office based: The employee prefers to work most of the time from an APS facility.
• Home based: The employee prefers to work most of the time from his/her home.
*Employees in flex roles are required to reside in Arizona (or New Mexico for Four Corners-based employees). Role types are subject to change based on business need.
