Veteran’s Administration Hospital Whistleblower Paula Pedene will share her experience with IABC Phoenix members via Zoom Thursday, May 19, from noon – 1 p.m.
“I often tell people I didn’t set out to be a high-profile whistleblower, and instead, it found me. And in doing so, my life changed completely. I’m not sure how much you know about my story, but I guess you can say I was the whistleblower who pulled it all together to stop the waits and delays our veterans were facing at the VA in Phoenix,” Paula says in her online blog.
Be sure to attend the IABC Phoenix May Lunch and Learn and find out what all Paula went through in discovering wrongdoing in the organization she worked for, trying to get changes made and getting banished to the basement for it, and finally getting all the information together and working with others to get the truth out and changes made.
Paula has written an award-winning book, A Sacred Duty, about her experience. She will be giving away one autographed copy to an attendee at the IABC Phoenix event. Be sure to register today!
